AECOM Entry Level Risk Management Analyst in New York City, New York

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Risk Management Analyst for employment in the New York, NY office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review project document, analyze project data and develop risk registers,

  • Support constructability reviews, schedule critical reviews, and scrutinize cost estimates, understanding areas of uncertainty,

  • Schedule and conduct risk interviews and support facilitation of risk workshops,

  • Develop quantitative integrated cost and schedule risk models, analyze results,

  • Prepare risk communications (memos), risk assessment reports, and document risk mitigation strategies,

  • Prepare risk assessment presentations and prepare presentations of the project’s risk profile.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong analytics and use of MS Excel is necessary

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence visualization concepts

  • Understanding of construction management fundamentals, project scheduling, cost estimating and project controls.

  • General understanding of the engineering and construction industry and programs/projects life cycle.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers,

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

  • Use of Business Intelligence visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulation and any experience with applicable software, such as @Risk, Pertmaster, Crystal Ball, and/or Active Risk Manager, is a plus.
