AECOM is hiring an Architectural Designer/Project Architect for our New York Buildings + Places practice. AECOM’s Buildings + Places business line is dedicated to design excellence and an integrated approach to creative problem-solving. Our expertise includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.
This individual will be responsible for our client project delivery from initial design stages to the final project close-out, including kick-off meeting, scope reports, design documents, construction administration, and project close-out. Other duties include:
Ensure that BCC/DOB/FDNY filing is streamlined and done in a timely manner.
Working with the Studio Leader on project design, project schedule, work plan and project budget for an assigned project.
Manage various trades for specific project (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, etc.) in-house or separate non-AECOM sub-consultants
Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture and 4+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Revit skills required
Experience working on education projects
Licensed architect a plus
