Job Summary

  • Leading the strategic plan and delivering on these plans for the region.

  • Maintaining client networks and managing client relationships (ensure client satisfaction with AECOM performance, providing clients with an integrated service offering etc).

  • Driving efficient operation and project delivery within the geography.

  • Developing a culture of collaboration, project excellence and innovation

  • Assigning employees to projects and ensuring, directly and through subordinates, that technical work is completed in accordance with contract scope of work and budget, and to professional, quality, and legislative standards.

  • Support in the effective leadership of staff; support engagement and continuous development of staff.

  • Driving financial performance of B&P in the region.

  • Taking a lead role in trouble shooting projects in distress and taking ownership of operational improvements.

  • Driving cash collections and working capital management.

  • Supporting negotiation of contracts and claims resolution.

  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and cost savings

  • Ensure implementation of and compliance with AECOM policies, systems and procedures

  • Working with the end market leads to supporting recruitment, professional development, engagement and retention of employees.

  • Engage with work winning and client engagement teams in alignment with overall strategy & growth plans.

  • Actively engaging in cross end market liaison, work winning and delivery of a fully integrated offering from AECOM.

  • Business Development (lead the business planning process, lead in cross end market work winning collaboration and delivery).

  • Promoting and ensuring effective implementation of AECOM SH&E policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years in and most recently taking senior operational leadership roles.

  • Proven ability to transform, invigorate and grow a business.

  • P+L management of over a 150m USD turnover per annum and/or 150 staff.

  • Proven experience successfully managing a leadership team and multi-disciplinary project teams.

  • Extensive experience in the leadership and management of projects from pre-positioning, proposal development to completion, including periodic project reviews.

  • Strong financial and budget management skills.

  • Be CLIENT-FOCUSED, IMPACTFUL, and DECISIVE.

  • Demonstrable commitment to HSE.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related business field.

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related business field.
