Position Title Associate Director (Workplace Strategy and Interiors)

Job Summary


  • Provides day-to-day administration of team

  • Will execute defined practice goals and business plan

  • Monitors the status on projects

  • Regularly reports status to Department Leader/ Director

  • Preparing project budget based on scope of work assigned, workload projections


  • Develops and executes strategic planning strategies

  • Periodically act as Project Lead on specific projects

  • Communicates business performance at the end of each accounting period

  • Understands the industry, lead client needs, and market drivers

  • Clear leader for all disciplines providing services in projects

Staff Development:

  • Prepares and delivers staff evaluations

  • Participates in interviews and recruitment of professional staff

  • Conducts employee performance evaluations, responsible for performance development

  • Develops continuing education opportunities for the staff

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience in architecture/interior architectural practice with prior management experience in all phases of corporate workplace projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design

  • High creativity

  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness

  • Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope

  • Presentation skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.
