AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Office Engineer for immediate employment for a project in Moccasin, CA. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Assists Construction Resident Engineer in the administration of the construction management process.
Manage construction contractor’s submittals and requests for information (RFI) processes as well as the application for payment process.
Schedules and documents project meetings, and coordinates progress and safety reporting.
Coordinates, documents, and provides receipt acceptance of owner furnished equipment and materials from the construction
contractor and transfer to the Project owner.
Coordinates turnover of record drawings (construction contractor’s red-lined as-built drawings), Operations & Maintenance
(O&M) manuals, spare parts, and warranties to Project owner.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Chemical, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution
5+ years of recent experience in construction management, office engineering, field engineering, and/or design of utility infrastructure construction projects
Experience in understanding and interpreting plans and specifications and in construction contract administration of submittals and requests for information (RFIs)
- 3 years of recent experience using construction management software systems is desirable
