Responsibilities of this position include:
Foster and develop client relationships
Identify and capture new work
Oversee/develop storm sewer system quantity and quality models, sanitary sewer system capacity models and river system models
Oversee/develop plans, specifications and engineering estimates for a variety of civil engineering projects including storm water and sanitary sewer planning and design
Oversee/develop permit application submittals
Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects
Manage project budget, schedule, teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering)
5+ years' related experience
PE License, preferably in the state of WI
Candidate must have regional knowledge pertaining to the position
Knowledgeable of Wisconsin Bidding law for public works projects
Experienced in presenting projects to local government bodies and the public at large
Experience with project management requirements and systems
Experience with client management and business development
Valid US driver’s licenseKnowledge of water quality modeling (WinSLAMM) and water quantity modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, Mike Urban, HydroCAD, etc).
Knowledge of floodplain, storm water management and erosion control requirements under NR 116, NR 151, and NR216 of Wisconsin Administrative Code and other permitting requirements
Experienced in working with WDNR, WisDOT, Corps of Engineers and other regulatory agencies
Good attention to details and accuracy of work skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong computer skills with ability to learn new technical software applications
15+ years' experience preferred with some business development experience
Knowledge of GIS and CAD tools
