Job Summary

AECOM currently has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager across the Australia and New Zealand region. This role could be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

In this challenging but rewarding role, your primary focus will be to manage TA across the region, including resourcing & ensuring the team has high retention and engagement, and to develop and implement TA initiatives. Key to your success will be your ability to build a strong understanding of the business and form relationships with key stakeholders, including HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures & methods

  • Manage TA team and report on its performance

  • Coach TA team to ensure client centricity by delivering a “high touch” TA model, ensuring both candidate and client experience remains the forefront of the teams delivery.

  • Achieve TA metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire )

  • Build rapport with internal clients and senior leadership teams to establish a strong professional relationships and manage a forecast future workload, based on work in hand, prospects and proposals

  • Implement new sourcing methods

  • Research and choose job advertising options

  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand

  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

  • Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends.

  • Responsible for developing, recommending and executing recruitment strategy with decision makers to ensure a successful candidate search within the identified time frames.

  • Influence hiring leads and teams on change iniatives related to Talent Acquisition as directed by the TA Manager.

  • Manage your ‘external recruitment’ vendors, ensuring processes are adhered to.

  • Work collobaratively with HR/COE collegues to ensure all aspects of HR compliance is taken into consideration before, during and after the TA process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience of managing a high performing TA Team

  • Knowledge of contemporary TA practices and industry trends

  • Proven recruiting experience

  • Proven track records of stakeholder management experience

  • Successful track record in direct sourcing of candidates

  • Degree educated (ideal)

  • Proven ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace change and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment
