AECOM Marketing Coordinator in Melbourne, Australia

Job Summary


  • Lead and coordinate marketing activities for SA business lines and ensure activities are aligned with broader ANZ and VSA marketing and branding objectives.

  • Coordinate project photography – identify projects, coordinate photo shoots, seek client approvals as required, and work

  • with Graphic Designer to enable access through project photo library.

  • Development and management of local marketing and bid collateral including project profiles, skills profiles, capability statements and team sheets, including drafting, editing, layout and printing as required.

  • Coordination of a CRM database through Salesforce.

Bid and Project Report Support

  • Undertake activities in support of senior management and regional client account managers in the identification of new opportunities and assist in driving positioning activities for major pursuits. Work closely with the VSA Strategic Pursuits Manager and Regional Marketing Advisors to identify business critical bids, help support their resourcing and track bid performance and communicate performance within VSA.

  • Support with business critical bids. This may include and not limited to the development of project profiles and pen pics, writing, bid review, and facilitating bid strategy workshops.

  • Undertake an editorial review of key elements of the bid documentation to ensure clarity, conciseness and demonstration of value proposition.

  • Undertake an editorial review of key elements of a project report.

  • Review/ edit proposal documents including editing, grammar and spelling prior to submission.

  • Preparation of non-technical content including company information.

  • Development of and liaison with graphic designer on proposal themes, covers, dividers and images.

  • Assist with preparation of presentations and content for interviews.

  • Assist in the writing, tailoring and editing of professional CVs.

  • Management of Salesforce including input and accuracy of data and ongoing training for SA


  • Develop and implement Annual Client Corporate event Plan and Sponsorship plan for SA.

  • Manage, with the assistance of administrative support, internal events and external sponsorship events – including seminars, industry briefings, boardroom and industry lunches, and golf days. Tasks include coordinating venues, catering, entertainment, invitations, and running sheets.

  • Maintain corporate event and sponsorships calendar.

  • Act as Corporate Social Responsibility Champion for Adelaide.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree qualified in marketing or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing in a business-to-business or professional services environment is essential.

  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business client relationship development and pursuit processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and advise all levels of seniority in environments with pressing delivery schedules.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with great results.

  • Demonstrated experience in working strategically, while also executing initiatives.

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to adeptly present ideas and suggestions to senior leaders.

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • A strategic thinker who is willing to get hands dirty.

  • Totally committed and able to work consistently to deadlines under pressure and tight time-frames.
