Position Title Junior Electrical Engineer

The Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of electrical system within a large facility and in leased buildings.The incumbent will be responsible for working with the Operations and Maintenance Personnel to assess electrical infrastructure conditions and mitigate risks. Support in the development of maintenance programs and long term recapitalization plans.They will also be responsible to work with O&M technicians to assure very high quality and reliable electrical operations, which includes optimizing equipment maintenance plans and schedules.
The Junior Electrical Engineer must have knowledge of:
Electrical Distribution Systems up to 13.8kv
15kv Switchgear and Distribution
5kv Switchgear and Distribution
Motor Control Centers
Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS)
Static Switches and Maintenance Bypass Configuration
Operation and Maintenance
Emergency Power Generation
Gas/ Diesel Generators
Monitor and Control Systems
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Building Automation (BAS)
Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA)
Bachelor degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering required.
3-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of large facilities.
Experience in design and/or operation of commercial buildings systems. Such as: high, medium and low voltage electrical power distribution systems; electrical generators; uninterruptible power systems; and monitor and control systems.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team in a very high quality and reliability technical environment.
Familiarity with facility safety and fire protection systems, and with quality control programs.
Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
