AECOM Executive Recruiter in Markham, Ontario

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Executive Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Executive Recruiter will be a Subject Matter Expert that will manage multiple openings from the initial planning and research, including market intelligence and insights, developing search strategies, determining timelines based on search complexity, candidate identification, assessment, development and presentation, all while providing a “white-glove” approach.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain market specific intelligence relevant to AECOM and talent needs that include maintaining a network of diverse industry contacts and partnering closely with strategic diversity initiatives

  • Document and report on search progress, including candidate pipeline, diversity initiatives, and market related matters

  • Responsible for developing, recommending and executing recruitment strategy with decision makers to ensure a successful candidate search within the identified time frames

  • Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry related associations in order to build ongoing passive candidate networks

  • Build relationships and communicate consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed

  • Create a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process

  • Research and develop company target lists and identify potential candidates and sources

  • This role can be located in any of AECOM office or work virtual.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience in an executive search or corporate recruiting function focused on identifying, assessing, attracting and hiring top flight executive talent who are in high demand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Architectural, Engineering and Construction space is a plus

  • Ability to cultivate relationships through collaborative engagements with executives, peers, vendors and candidates

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, including professional representation and on target advice to stakeholders

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
