Job Summary

This position is temporary not to exceed 90 days!

Manage personal property transfers, establish/refine procedures for all phases of personal property management including receipt, control, disbursement, and sale of property, oversee warehouse operations, develop and implement an equipment management information system, and establish an inspection, maintenance and repair capability for stored or leased equipment..

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees inventory of equipment owned and operated by the company, or leased to tenants, including the updating and maintenance of inventory databases.

  2. Manages warehousing functions including receipt, storage, and disbursement of property.

  3. Arranges for alterations to, or maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of possessed personal property. Develops and enforces lessee's agreements for maintenance and upkeep of leased equipment.

  4. Purchases supplies and equipment for use on leased properties.

  5. Advises clients relative to financing, purchasing, or selling of personal property.

  6. Directs sale of personal property when determined excess to needs

  7. Prepares periodic inventories of building contents and property condition, and forwards listing to owner for review.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and at least ten (10) years related experience in inventory and warehouse management and five (5) years of related supervisory experience preferred or equivalent degree/experience combination.

Must have working knowledge of MS Office and database management software. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to effectively present information to top management. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Operation of forklift is incidental to the job and training can be provided. Employee must be willing to train in order to operate equipment.

Must be a U.S. Citizenship and a SECRET security clearance may be required.

Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.

Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
