AECOM Production Control Supervisor in Mannheim, Germany

Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Germany on the APS-2 contract for a Production Control Supervisor .


The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for the production control functions under this effort and must have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in the applicable supply & maintenance management. The Production Control Supervisor must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the assigned functions. The Production Control Supervisor must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized.

The Production Control Supervisor has these specific responsibilities:

  • Responsible to the Maintenance Manager for production control and management of maintenance scheduling

  • Supervises readiness and contingency planning

  • Monitors production for compliance with scheduling directives and standards driven by sustainment maintenance and contingency maintenance missions as required by the government

  • Manages receipt, control and processing of all on-line and off-line work orders

  • Collects and analyzes data necessary to manage Maintenance resources

  • Directs and supervises the use of Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) to accomplish all maintenance missions

  • Advises the Maintenance Manager on the status of workload and scheduling effectiveness, proposes corrective action for workload imbalances and backlogs

  • Prepares and presents briefings on maintenance related activities

  • Establishes and maintains effective coordination between elements of Maintenance, management, and U.S. Department of Defense agencies and European theater commanders

  • Performs employee counseling, initially, periodically and as required

  • Produces reports to include, but not limited to, Critical Parts Listings, 02 Due-In Listings, and ad-hoc queries

  • Participates in maintenance briefings to the government to include all aspects of parts requisitioning and expediting

  • Manages and controls all movement requests, maintains all equipment log books to standard, as required by the government

  • Uses classified (U.S. only) IT systems, including US Army Logistic Information Systems (LIS) and Global Combat Service and Support – Army (GCCS-A), to manage maintenance and logistics projects

  • Directs the efforts of the Production Control and AWRDS production control clerks

  • Ensures that all the equipment repaired, serviced, and retained at the repair facilities is correctly reported in AWRDS for readiness and custodial records.

Minimum Requirements


A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience; OR An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR 10 years of recent specialized experience.


Tactical Supply and Maintenance Systems Course; Microsoft Office Course; AWRDS and or GCSS-A Warehouse and Materiel Management Course. Be able to access and handle all end items, components, subsystems and repair parts with a sensitive or classified coding.
