AECOM is seeing a Senior Project Manager for a large scale, multi-building program in Honolulu, Hawaii. Candidates will be responsible for the delivery of a fully integrated set of design documents that meet the clients requirements in terms of design quality and cost requirements. Experienced management and people skills will be required to optimize the contributions of highly skilled teams located across the continental US and on Oahu. A sensitivity to the profile of this important civic amenity is also required as it will help align the varied client and design team processes.
AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. This project is expected to have a 16 to 18 month design phase commencing in March 2018.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Responsible for the full, safe, quality and efficient delivery of projects
Manage teams, both internal and external, local and remote.
Plans, directs, and supervises all operations for assigned project(s)
Manage cost, deliverables and schedule for assigned program
Report regularly as required on project status.
Oversee and ultimately responsible for timely and accurate invoicing and billing, change orders, and project closeout
Manage crews via the project superintendent to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and with quality
Ensure reporting is accurate and timely
Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant project managers, design managers, technical and design leads
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
10+ years of project management of A/E consulting and/or project management of complex facility projects in US
Expert design and financial management of design programs
Project management experience on large complex projects - Experience leading teams of technical staff - Successful marketing and sales experience
Strong client management skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational , oral and technical writing skills - Competent with Excel - Proficient in other MS Office programs (Word, Powerpoint)
Strong understanding of A/E design coordination and technical delivery requirements would be an advantage
Experience of working in HI would be advantageous
Experience of delivering large complex projects for local government organizations would be advantageous
