AECOM has an opening for a Benefits Analyst - Retirement Plans to join our Global Benefits team in our downtown Los Angeles office. The role provides professional level support to the ongoing administration of AECOM’s retirement program.
Administration of the legacy Defined Benefit Pension Plans, including vendor management, assisting with government filings, plan audits and ensuring all the plans compliance requirements are met
Interacts with employees throughout the organization, including senior management, in identifying, analyzing and resolving retirement plan issues and questions
Assists in the development and maintenance of program policies and procedures
Primary focus on defined benefit pension plans with exposure to other AECOM retirement program plans and stock purchase plan
Acts as company liaison with retirement plan administration, trustees, and actuarial vendors
Coordinates with vendors to research, analyze and resolve issues related to retirement plan benefits
Maintains benefits records and documents
Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Excellent knowledge of retirement plans administration & compliance (e.g. DOL, IRS, SEC rules & regulations)
Significant knowledge of defined benefit pension plans required
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Minimum 4+ years of Retirement Plan Administration, Consulting, or Human Resource experience, with emphasis in retirement plans.
Experience working with HRIS/Payroll/Benefit systems, ORACLE experience is preferred
