Job Summary
AECOM is looking for an Engineering Technologist 2 who will function as an integral team member comprised of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide analysis expertise in support of CPRG/PMA-262 Broad Area Maritime Surveillance – Demonstrator (BAMS-D) flight operations, required/directed exercises and/or experiments. This position is located in Lexington Park, Maryland.
This is a contingent position.
The Engineering Technologist 2 will participate as a BAMS-D Tactical Auxiliary Ground Station (TAGS) crew member performing operational mission analysis, webpage and database management/manipulation.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work with various contractors, military, and Government personnel to ensure all scheduling, operations and airspace, are coordinated and all participants understand their roles and responsibilities.
Assist in the development of the detailed BAMS-D operations schedule, taking into account long term requirements, maintenance, and manning requirements, balancing all to achieve the most efficient schedule.
Coordinate and work closely with other BAMS-D flight operations team, and engineering disciplines to define, and refine system specifications and requirements for the future MQ-4C Triton UAS.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
Must have Associates degree or Vocational/Technical School certification.
In lieu of the degree requirement, other special or market-scarce skills may be substituted.
At least 8 years of job-related experience in the intelligence collection process in support of the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) community. Operational hands-on experience is important.
Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
USN Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft/Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Forces (MPRA/MPRF) experience desirable.
Specific experience in Imagery Analysis in support of the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) community.
