Position Title Municipal Engineer /Project Manager

The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Municipal Engineer /Project Manager for immediate employment in the Kitchener, ON office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead existing municipal design and construction staff, for projects including sewer and watermain replacement /reconstruction, roadway and intersection improvements, and site development/servicing design
Proposal preparation, client liaison and relationship management
Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and specifications
Communicate and work with other disciplines/project team members in Kitchener and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity
Develop new business and grow the team
Liaise with and assist other departments and offices in the provision of design services to other clients, as applicable
Perform financial and budget control duties on projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
P.Eng in Ontario or eligible to receive it within 6 months of employment
5+ years of Infrastructure Design experience
Thorough understanding of municipal standards, Ontario Provincial Standards and Drawings
Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Environmental Compliance Approvals
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to travel to various project sites throughout SW Ontario
Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
Site Plan Approval Process
PMP Certification or equivalent
Familiarity/experience with MicroStation
Familiarity/experience with hydrologic modeling software
