Job Summary

Essential Job Function: POSITION CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABILITY This is a worldwide rotational assignment as part of a Flexible workforce pool (Flex Pool); with duties beginning at the Las Vegas, NV Program Office. Employee must be able to support TDY deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required in support of Predator-series UAS maintenance. Employee will assemble, disassemble, renovate, transport, load, deactivate, modify, destroy, and handle munitions including missiles, precision, and gravity bombs. Work on the installation, configuration changes, modification, repair and adjustment of aircraft armament systems and components. Perform maintenance modifications, destruction, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components. Operate computer hardware and software utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Inspects bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction in support of Predator/Reaper Series UAV maintenance.

Additionally, employee may manage inspection, maintenance, and storage of munitions and support equipment. Focal point for weapons loading and armament systems and related matters. Primary authority to provide quality assurance, compliance, continuity, and standardization of munitions programs. Authors and maintains weapons safety course, load certification and related products. Provides technical and managerial advice to senior leaders in matters of weapons management, inventory, and maintenance, loading, and armament systems. Plans, orders, and ensures availability and serviceability of munitions to support emerging customer requirements.

Minimum Requirements

AA degree required, or must have completed relevant military or vocational technical school curriculum. Employment category will be based on candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Upon hiring, the company may provide a training class on UAV Predator/Reaper Series ordnance training at Indian Springs/ Creech AFB, NV; Grey Butte, CA or similar location as assigned. Additional “on the job” training may be required following end of course. Upon successful completion of all required training, the employee will report to assigned location.

EMPLOYEE MUST MEET ALL OCONUS DEPLOYMENT CRITERIA, TO INCLUDE PRE-DEPLOYMENT MEDICAL SCREENING AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. THIS IS A NON-TRADITIONAL POSITION THAT WILL SUPPORT A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE.

Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship upon hire. Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date. Must be able to gain/maintain the required security clearance level and special access authorization as a condition of continued employment.
