AECOM Director Facade in Hyderabad, India

AECOM India is seeking applications for an upcoming Greenfield World class Grade A office building bid in South India. This project will be largest corporate office of our client outside of USA. The total built up area is around 32 Lakhs sft (3 Basements + Ground + 22 Floors). AECOM’s scope of work shall be Construction Management Services. We are anticipating a project duration of 5 years.
The Director Facade Job Duties includes but not limited to:
Advising in available façade systems, integrators and suppliers in the market and its rates
Review Architectural Drawings, understand the design intent and draw out the façade tender.
Analyse the tenders received and ensure all the specifications are in line with design intent
Ensure correct execution / installation procedures for façade are followed on site.
Knowledge of latest façade technologies
Able to give commercial advice to design team to develop façade solution – understanding the balance and relationship between Architectural intent, performance requirements, buildability and cost on a scheme.
Experience in testing of various façade and cladding systems.
Understanding international rates as well as India based schemes
Assisting in setting of procurement strategy for Façade elements in conjunction or separate to main contract procurement
Advising on programme, whole life costing and sustainability of Facades
- Degree in Civil Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in delivering High Quality Façade for IT Campus or Hotels or Leed Platinum rated buildings. Knowledge of various façade system installations and coordination
Excellent Communication Skills
Prior experience in International projects
