Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support the Army Aviation and Missile Support Command, Field Support Directorate, Fleet and Logistical Support Directorate (FLSD), Huntsville Alabama.

Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker operates hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.

  2. High school diploma or general education (GED) degree is required.

  3. A minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months warehouse related experience and or training is required.

  4. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general purpose vehicle.

  5. Position may require travel.

  6. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  7. Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
