AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Design Engineer for Baggage Handling Systems in the Hunt Valley, MD office. Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer:
Assist in the planning, development and design of Baggage Handling System for Airport Terminal projects. Activities may also include field visits for data gathering and construction compliance related tasks
Developing Planning Images,
Site Survey work
CAD studies for Airport Layouts
Revit Models for Construction Documents
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and/or related engineer fields. Working knowledge and familiarity with Airport Terminal construction plans is a requirement.
Capable of using AutoCAD and ReVIT.
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be organized and detail oriented
Understanding of engineering principles
Willingness to travel (if and when required)
Must possess a valid driver's license
- Previous intern experience with a design or construction related firm is desirable.
