Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering Internfor employment in the Honolulu, HI office. AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, impactful and decisive.

The scope of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Interns will be assigned challenging projects and tasks under the supervision of project managers or senior engineering managers.

  • Project areas include rockfall mitigation, water, wastewater, infrastructure rehabilitation and reconstruction, stormwater programplanning, and construction management.

  • Interns will be assigned design work using AutoCAD, as well as technical assessments,analyses, and report writing.

  • Job locations may include AECOM project offices at external construction sites as well as project sites toparticipate in data collection and field assessments.

  • Interns will be included in organization events such as staff meetings and brownbag workshops and be allowed opportunities for networking and informational briefings with key personnel.

  • Learning objectives will beestablished at the start of the internship with his/her supervisor to provide clear direction and targeted goals.

  • Exit interviews will beconducted to evaluate progress toward learning objectives and performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required
