Job Summary

AECOM Leisure and Culture provides a wide range of economic and strategic planning, master planning, architectural, engineering and project management services to clients worldwide. We work primarily in entertainment and leisure, real estate, hospitality, tourism, mixed use, cultural facilities, and township planning. Our portfolio of clients include many of the largest resort and theme park projects in Asia, such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Creative, Village Roadshow, 20th Century Fox, SeaWorld Parks, Merlin Entertainments Group, Luneng Group, Samsung Everland, Ocean Park, Evergrand, OCT Group and Haichang Group.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to be part of high caliber team of Program Management professionals leading the design and build of a USD billion plus theme park and water park complex in China.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the overall project schedule and report to Executive Director and Overall Project Director.

  • Maintain updated and approve project schedules for all aspects of the theme park and water park development from design through construction and opening day.

  • Interface with Planning and Scheduling Managers for the theme park, water park

  • Coordinate with Contracts Managers on vendor, contractor and logistics delivery schedules

  • Coordinate with site logistics managers on schedules

  • Interface with Theme Park and Water Park operator to align schedules.

  • Oversee and manage online scheduling and workflow dashboards

  • Keep senior management and project owner informed of overall project schedule, milestones, key decision points, and funding requirements

  • Coordinate with local government and utilities the overall project schedule, milestones and key decision points

  • Manage Planning and Scheduling staff on project sites.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Economics, Project Management, Construction Management or other related disciplines. Master Degree is highly preferred

  • 10+ years planning and scheduling experience for large scale projects

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word Computer literacy. Working experience with scheduling software such as Primavera 6

  • Be proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin

  • Be well-organized and capable of meeting deadline; be able to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people.
