AECOM is currently seeking a qualified Supervisor 1 in support of U.S. Air Force Aircraft Maintenance at Holloman AFB, NM.
Primary responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating Block 40 F-16 flight line production activities which generate labor values between $6.5M and $20M utilizing the skills of 190+ personnel.
Communicating effectively at all organizational levels and making sound decisions and utilizing strong interpersonal skills while representing the company in a positive manner at customer meetings.
Interpreting and carrying-out technical guidance: safety orders, operation and maintenance instructions and manuals, and contract delivery orders furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Verifying work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow.
Issuing written and oral instructions.
Assigning duties and examining work for conformance to policies and procedures.
Studying and standardizing procedures to improve efficiency of workforce.
Maintaining harmony among workers, and adjusting errors and complaints.
Visiting flight line and back shop job sites to insure all safety precautions/procedures are being used.
Inspecting work during and after completion to determine quality and completeness.
Reviewing work orders, labor time sheets, and material requests for accuracy.
Typing routine correspondence and preparing composite reports from subordinate’s reports.
Calculating figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages.
Interpreting billing cycles.
Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally
Sitting constantly while using the computer terminal
Using of sight abilities while reviewing documents
Using speech and hearing abilities constantly for communication
Using mental alertness constantly
Using planning and organizing skills constantly
Working under deadlines constantly.
Being exposed to hazardous noise, industrial environments, and chemicals.
Wearing safety toed footwear.
Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum of seven (7) years as a Mechanic on Fighter type Aircraft.
Must have or be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
Minimum of two (2) years as a fligh tline Production Supervisor on Fighter type Aircraft.
Must be able to meet physical requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks and pass medical exam.
Must be available for any shift and willing to work weekends.
Must have valid driver's license.
Candidates with prior F-16 experience highly desired.
