Position Title Senior Engineer

AECOM is seeking engineers with 10+ years of experience in applying Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to provide project management and technical oversight for a wide variety of tasks supporting spectrum reallocation within the DoD. The RF engineer would have to provide technical support to the Department of the Navy as well as providing direction and technical oversite to a large team of spectrum professionals. The position requires understanding of a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, and SATCOM.
Act as central POC for all customer requirements
Provide tasking and direction for team of spectrum professionals
Act as the quality control for all project deliverables
Work with the DON to develop requirements and initiate production of RF modeling tools
Liaise with other federal entities in support of DON requirements associated with spectrum reallocation
Support/Represent the DON in a wide variety of spectrum engineering forums
Act as the Project manager for a staff of 8-10
Possess an engineering degree from an accredited university or college,
10+ years’ experience with applying the principles of the performance of the Radio Frequency Engineering analysis.
Requires Secret clearance; Preferred: TS (SCI) eligible.
Must be a United States citizen.
Experience developing analytical software tools
Knowledge of the either the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) system certification process
Knowledge of any of the following software’s: Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Equipment Location Certification Information database (EL-CID), Spectrum XXI, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), or Stepstone
Experience with Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment or standards
World Radio Conference Support
Development of Spectrum related standards and policies
