AECOM Account Marketing Professional in Hamilton, Ontario

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Account Marketing Professional to be based in either Mississauga or Hamilton, ON.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to account manager on day-to-day account functions: sales tracking, proposals, presentations, team performance

  • General Activities

  • Act as the “right hand” to Account Manager

  • Organize workflow to ensure that documents and proposals are submitted on time prior to the document’s submission due date.

  • Provide cross-team coordination to complete tasks in a timely manner.

  • Proof read and format various documents for projects, proposals and marketing purposes

  • Sales & Growth Support

  • Market research, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management

  • Support identifying and coordinating client lunch and learns, webinars, etc

  • Compile and maintain project experience data, including case studies

  • Support the creation and maintenance of our proposal content database / management system

  • Support marketing initiatives such as internal and external announcements, social media posts, etc.

  • Own and maintain account KPI reporting, tracking and improvements

  • Data analysis and reporting related to wins, revenue, etc.

  • Proposal Support

  • Embed Winning Edge Strategy Development practices into pursuits

  • Serve as the facilitator of key pursuits and proposals with the support of the Account Manager

  • Support the bid proposal process through the activities of coordination, SME collaboration, writing, finalization, assembly, internal reviews and submission

  • Act as procurement liaison during the bid process

  • Monitor pursuit teams’ proposal progress

  • Maintain tender and proposal document management as appropriate

  • Coordinate / administer bid debriefs and post-submission lessons learned

Minimum Requirements

  • A university degree preferably in marketing, English or communications

  • Two (2) + years experience in proposal support in a technical environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong business writing, editing, and communications skills

  • Some working experience in a consulting firm providing services to utilities, engineering, power plants or other industrial projects is an asset

  • Confident, self-starter and ability to work under minimum supervision

  • Robust project management skills

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS 365 platforms (Teams), and SharePoint); Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
