Job Summary

Our growing team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in contaminated land assessment and remediation, air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management, consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, wastelandfill management services, compliance monitoring, sustainability and resilience and water and natural resources.

The role will be responsible for completing desktop and field-based site investigations, assisting with the preparation and presentation of proposals, technical report writing, site investigations, sampling the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients, and developing and enhancing relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.

As an Environmental Scientist you will:

  • Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical expertise in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives.

  • Communicate well with clients/project managers to clearly understand scope of work to be completed.Obtain precise information about work scope from client/manager by active listening and clear communication.

  • Contribute to client satisfaction through being responsive, timely and effective in all communications with clients.

  • Maintain and develop expertise and keep abreast of industry developments in the environmental sector.

  • Actively participate in improvement processes.

  • Communicate effectively with your manager and team members regarding resourcing and service delivery.

Minimum Requirements

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a 'can do' attitude and strong client focus who is able to demonstrate:

  • 2-5 years' relevant working experience in environmental science or engineering. Contaminated land experience would be ideal.

  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to take on a wide range of opportunities and challenges that will come your way.

  • Exceptional levels of written and oral communication.

  • Natural organiser and planner.

  • Flexibility, Eenthusiasm and integrity.

  • Competent in systems: Project Management tools, MS office suite.

  • Knowledge of the market for consulting services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering.
