Position Title Senior Cost Manager, Theme Park
China - Guangdong Province
Prepare an initial feasibility budget which identifies the expenditure into elements and will be prepared in sufficient detail to allow the Project Team to develop their design within the overall cost limits.
Report the accumulated costs against the project budget on a monthly basis - analyze trends in the accumulated costs and report variances to the Project Controls Manager.
Establish procedures for tracking and reporting risks. Analyze and update risk profile on a regular basis.
Establish with the Deputy Director Theme Park the project priorities in respect of quality, time and cost.
Undertake cost studies as required to enable the Project Team to consider all options in order to proceed with the optimum scheme.
Consider and advise upon ‘best value’ procurement options and present to The Deputy Director Theme Park for consideration.
Conduct Value Management workshops with the project team
Prepare a detailed cost plan for the project against the designs developed at each stage of the project.
Closely monitor design development against the cost plan throughout.
Evaluate alternative design solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field required.
Minimum 15 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying/ Cost Management.
Member of the RICS/ HKIS or equivalent professional accreditation.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required
