Position Title Senior Contracts Manager
China - Guangdong Province
Performing a full spectrum of common commercial transactional duties;
Drafting the scope of theme park project packages for design, equipment, and construction
Applying advanced skills to identify and independently resolve complex problems related to contract language, procedures or practices;
Providing advice/recommendation and interpretation of contract terms, obligations and risk exposure to the applicable management team;
Verifying contract compliance with the company’s delegation of authority process and summarizing risks for executive management review and approval;
Writing, reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating contracts and contract modifications to achieve acceptable levels of risk in a highly competitive market environment;
Effectively and positively representing the company in discussions with highly experienced customers and suppliers;
Drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, re-negotiation of existing contracts, claim management and other contractual documents.
Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferably with MHKIS, MRICS, PRS, ACIArb professional qualifications;
Knowledge in legal studies or construction law is an advantage;
Minimum 10-15 years relevant project experience in leading commercial role for large scale contracts;
Experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/ arbitration knowledge, familiar with various forms of conditions of contracts, cost control, planning and strategic management;
Be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese;
Be well-organized and capable of meeting deadline, you need to be able to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people.
