AECOM Project Controls Administrator in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Job Summary

The Water Business Unit of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Technical Project Controls Assistant for immediate employment in their Denver Plaza located in Greenwood Village, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Water Business Unit. The Denver Water Business Unit works on a variety of exciting projects within Mining.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff

  • Create templates, generate draft reports and prepare written documentation

  • Assists with collection of data and produces an initial analysis on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost

requirements versus budget limitations including earned value concepts against schedules.

  • Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and/or code requirements

  • Develop and coordinate workflow processes/tasks for the life of the project (project set-up, budget

forecasting/tracking, procurement and reporting)

  • Research technical issues and claims

  • Provide assistance and support as needed

  • This position will include filing projects, archiving projects and other functions that are to be determined by the team.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS +2 YORE or AA/AS (US) +4 YORE or HS/GED +6 YORE

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project controls, accounting or support role in engineering or construction industry

  • Demonstrate proactive problem solving skills

  • Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment High level knowledge of excel spreadsheets and Microsoft project

  • High level knowledge of excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exhibit initiative and responsibility

  • Must have a flexible work schedule

  • Must be a resourceful highly organized candidate with attention to detail
