AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water/Wastewater Project Manager for immediate employment in the Greenville, SC office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Technical lead for multi-disciplinary teams to undertake water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects
Direct and manage the implementation of the project including coordination with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors and other external and internal parties to achieve project milestones
Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, plans and specifications
Manage project deliverable, budgets, schedules. Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Assurance policies and procedures
Oversee and manage construction phases of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with the contract documents, on time and budget
Ensure project work is undertaken in accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems
Prepare proposals and qualification documents in the interest of obtaining new assignments
Maintain client relationships; assist in identification and pursuit of business development opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
10+ years of experience relevant to municipal or private sector water/wastewater
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Professional Engineer in South Carolina or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire
Proven Project Management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver on time and within budget
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of local codes, development processes, and utility regulations
Demonstrated ability to work with clients to provide long-term solutions and maintain/develop strong client relationships
Provide leadership and technical guidance in his/her area of expertise related to water/wastewater
Good understanding of local and regional markets and able to support marketing effort in pursuing work
Experience or interest in business operations and internal finance
