Job Summary

AECOM are part of the Caledonia Water Alliance a joint venture with Morrison Utility Services (MUS) delivering £360m of water infrastructure enhancements

AECOM are looking for a suitably experienced infrastructure quantity surveyor to join our expanding team on the Caledonia Water Alliance

Job Responsibilities:

  • To undertake full scope of CM services including Pre and Post Contract Cost Planning; Procurement; Contract Admin.

  • Understanding of water enhancement projects

  • Understanding of various contract forms in particular NEC3 Options A and C

  • Advising clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost - our USP is that we help our clients get the maximum value from their investment, not just the lowest cost.

  • An experienced Quantity Surveyor good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • You will possess post graduate experience in a quantity surveying environment.

  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors including water would be advantageous.

  • Able to work under own initiative and manage other staff where appropriate.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.

Minimum Requirements

  • An experienced Quantity Surveyor with a consulting or contracting background who shares our passion for delivering high quality consulting services to clients.

  • Very good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • You will possess proven experience in a professional environment.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quantity Surveying Degree (or equivalent).
