Job Summary

Business Development Recruiter to join our growing team. The Business Development Recruiter will be part of a Talent Acquisitions Business Development team that focuses on supporting federal government contracting capture and proposal development. The Business Development Recruiter will be responsible for building talent pipelines for current and future needs, providing surge recruiting support and assisting with job fairs and networking events.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to * *:

  • Partner with internal clients to problem solve, create ‘go-to-market’ strategies, and define the candidate identification strategy for each business development pursuit and hard to fill positions

  • Source potential and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building

  • Serves as an internal consultant regarding staffing needs and projections, and advises on the best course of action to fill open positions

  • Partner with internal clients to source for hard-to-fill positions

  • Continually expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events

  • Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging

  • Prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications

  • Develop a pipeline for current and future hiring needs

  • Foster relationships with passive talent and Recruiters

  • Ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria

  • Ensure timeliness of recruitment process

  • Will take positive steps to support and promote the recruitment, retention and development programs for AECOM.

  • Assist in the opening and closing of personnel requisitions

  • Ensures that AECOM’s internal applicant tracking system is maintained and completed; applicants are disposition according to OFCCP guidelines; internal candidates are disposition and contacted appropriately; and, interview reports are completed accurately

  • Coordinates and participates in job fairs

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent

  • Experience within the cleared government contracting environment

  • Experience with Social Media Management and Recruiting

  • Must be will to travel up to 25%

  • Experience performing advanced Boolean searching for highly cleared staff

  • Experience partnering with business leaders to define recruiting requirements and assist with staffing plans

  • Experience mapping government labor categories to internal organizations categories

  • Knowledge and ability to follow OFCCP guidelines
