Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Program Coordinator for employment under the Germantown, MD office; work will be performed remotely. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in business administration. The incumbent can look forward to supporting efforts in the management of project budgets and invoice development for federal contracts, including FEMA contracts. This is a part-time variable position, meaning work days and times will be determined on an as-needed basis.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews internal and subcontractor invoices

  • Verifies weekly expense reports

  • Confirms reported costs are compliant with contract requirements

  • Prepares data reports as needed

  • Other tasks as needed in supporting the management of contract invoice submissions

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • 3+ years of experience in professional roles involving experience with full cycle accounting processes

  • Experience with financial related software such as Oracle, Salesforce, and others

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finances

  • 5+ years of experience in professional roles involving experience with full cycle accounting processes

  • Experience with reviewing multiple large invoices in a timely manner

  • Ability to manage large data reviews in a timely manner
