Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Logistics Equipment Specialist to provide support to Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager, Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicles (PM MHTV). Position is in support of Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA.

Responsibilities may include:

Individual will provide sustainment logistics support for PM MHTV; assess vehicle and integrated systems to mitigate supply and maintenance shortfalls; develop documentation for depot level planning and engineering change proposals; support Technical Management Publication reviews and validation/verification to ensure the system is properly documented for the Marine Corps Operators and Maintainers; maintain and update provisioning efforts for all programs; participate in the planning IPTs for fielding; recommend and draft maintenance plans; recommend and draft supportability plans and concepts; update the baseline for configuration of Principal End Items (PEIs) and major components; maintain and update databases (Marine Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System, Subsystem 10, and Item Application File); analyzing, reviewing and inducting Provisional Technical Data (PTD) utilizing the LSA 036 format; and perform other duties as assigned.

Position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Position may require travel.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of progressive related experience. Additional related experience may be substituted for education.

Must have prior supply or maintenance experience. Must have excellent writing and communication skills, and strong verbal and interpersonal skills; as daily interaction with government customers will be required. Selected candidate must be a self-starter and able to work well independently, with minimal supervision and broad direction.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tactical vehicles highly desired. Prior experience as an Equipment Specialist and/or relevant military training highly desired. An understanding of military systems acquisition and fielding processes desired. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and integrated software applications is desired. Existing NACI or security clearance strongly desired
