AECOM Millwright Journeyman in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

AECOM is currently seeking a Millwright Journeyman to join the Shell Scotford project team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This is a Full-Time position on 5 day on, 2 day off rotation (Monday to Friday; 8 hours/day).
Local Candidates ONLY as NO Living Out Allowance (LOA) or NO Camp/Travel (FIFO) option available for this project.
Millwrights install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in sites such as factories, production plants and recreational facilities.
Millwright Journeyman will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments
Perform predictive and operational procedures
Repair or replace defective parts
Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
May do some tack welding (a weld that is adequate in size to temporarily hold components in place until it can be completely welded by a registered apprentice welder or a journeyman welder) and fabrication as well as maintain an inventory of replacement parts

For positions that fall into the list of required positions within the AECOM Oil & Gas Alcohol & Drug (A&D) policy, qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.
Certified Journeyman and or holds a valid recognized credential
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification or Petroleum Safety Training (PST)
Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA issued ticket is the general requirement)
AWP (Aerial Work Platform)
OSSA Confined Space OSSA Firewatch & OH Crane & Rigging
