Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide development and maintenance of multiple SharePoint sites. The position will be located at Fort Meade.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Design, configure, implement, and deploy SharePoint custom solutions to support business processes using SharePoint 2013 out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer 2013.

  2. Design and develop custom content types to support, enhance, and facilitate business processes and related data.

  3. Design and develop Key Performance Indicator lists that integrate with custom business solutions and custom dashboards using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer.

  4. Design and develop custom calculations to enhance business and process related metrics and Key performance indicators.

  5. Design and develop custom workflows using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer to enhance, support, and facilitate business process related data.

  6. Develop custom Data View Web Parts using SharePoint Designer and provide support for deployed custom SharePoint solutions and workflows in both SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements (including education):

  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph from day one.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field (MIS, CIS, CS) or demonstrated equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience in programming or systems analysis.

  • 4+ years of experience with designing and implementing custom business solutions using SharePoint 2013, 2010, or 2007 Out-of-the-Box capabilities, configuring SharePoint sites, sub-sites, and user permissions, and managing SharePoint collections.

  • Experience with supporting an enterprise-wide instantiation of SharePoint 2013, 2010, or 2007. Including Site collection permissions.

  • Experience with implementing permissions in SharePoint in a site collection and with business solution designs.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications, organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work.

  • Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation, and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with SharePoint 2013, 2010, or 2007 Site Definitions, Web Parts, Custom Navigation, Content Types, Search Features, Master Pages, Site Templates and Page Layouts, and SharePoint Designer

  • Experience with Agency Policies and Directives as they apply to IT infrastructure and applications

  • Experience with SharePoint content type-based workflows for the creation, routing, and management of documents in SharePoint Experience with gathering customer requirements to define business processes.

Familiarity with SPARX EA is an additional plus.
