AECOM Material Coordinator in Fort Mackay, Alberta

AECOM is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our IOL Kearl Project in Fort Mackay, Alberta. This is a Temporary position, on a 10 day on 10 day off shift rotation, but requires to work 6 day on 1 day off rotation as well, if and when required.
Responsible for managing the process by which the organization is supplied with the goods and services that it needs to achieve its objectives. Provides the appropriate material of the right quality, the right quantity, at right place and time, so as to coordinate and schedule the production activity in an integrative way.
Using company cornerstone systems and policies, and working under minimal supervision, assists in tracking material quantities, receiving goods, preparation of documents, physical inventories and maintenance of records.
Applies Company policies, systems and procedures.
Uses Company logistics systems and processes.
Knowledgeable of the logistics terminology, measures, concepts and principles.
Exposed to processes that increase recognition regarding the impact that transportation/logistics has on various project objectives.
Works with the company cornerstone systems and processes.
Assists in the preparation of logistics documents and maintenance of records.
Assists in the preparation of Requests for Quotations for logistics and freight forwarding services.
Introduced to the evaluation process of freight forwarders’ capabilities and qualification.
Assists in the tabulation and evaluation of transportation/logistics bids.
Assists in the maintenance of transportation/logistics documents.
Assists in the tool crib coordinator capacity / management.
Responsible for maintaining a facility maintenance equipment and Tool Crib operations.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.
Diploma or Certificate + 2 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09)
Standard First Aid Ticket (Level C)
This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.
- Toolcrib operation/management experience is preferred.
