Irish Water is a new national utility responsible for all water and wastewater Infrastructure in Ireland. The Connections and Developer Service (CDS) within Irish Water is a key point of contact for customers in relation to the provision of connections and commercial agreements to deliver connections to the water and wastewater networks. Consequently, the CDS team rely heavily on collaboration with many functions of the Irish Water business to deliver connections for customers.
The Developer Provided Infrastructure (DPI) Programme Manager role will integrate existing Department of Heritage Planning and Local Government (DHPLG) policy into the existing CDS connection processes. This policy sets out the process for transfer of Developer Provided Infrastructure into Irish Water ownership. The role will require highly competent communication, budgetary and project management skills.
Managing the assessment of Legacy WwTP DPI solutions requirements within the CDS connection process.
Liaison with Irish Water Business units
Liaison with Department of Heritage Planning and Local Government
Liaison with Local authorities
Required skills and experience:
Minimum 7 years relevant utilities experience. Namely Water and Wastewater although Power and gas experience would be an advantage.
Engineering or equivalent degree qualification.
Role is based in Dublin and covers DPI in Dublin, Louth, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.
Desirable skills and experience:
- A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering would be advantageous.
