Our Ireland Project Management business unit continues to grow to service the Public and Private sector where it has successfully secured positions with many high profile clients and some of the largest projects and programs in the industry. As a direct result if this growth it is currently seeking a full time Project Manager with the following requirements.
We have 20 Project Managers across our Ireland offices and you can expect to be working with a team of around 10 PM's in our Hatch Street offices. A Project Manager at Aecom can expect to work on a variety of projects and some of our recent work includes;
Project Wilton - LinkedIN's new commercial HQ based in Dublin.
Dublin Airport Authority - Creating additional capacity on T1 & T2 whilst also increasing handling and transfer efficiency.
Trinity College Dublin - Refurbishment works on buildings on TCD campus.
Various Mission Critical & Data Centre work
The Project Manager will be expected to work with Senior Project Manager to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects. The role would cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
As PM you should possess the skills and experience to lead a team on a technically complex project between typically £5m and £20m, and for developing collaborative relationships with our clients and other team members. You will also be responsible for;
Day to day client point of contact for projects
Manage design teams and project teams
Manage and mentor junior project managers to deliver the PM service efficiently and effectively.
Successful delivery of projects with minimum supervision leading to happy clients and repeat business.#LI-SH1
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills are key.
Strong experience of delivering technically complex projects.
Proven track record of delivering technically complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Experience of working in another comparable consultancy environment, or with a client organisation.
Good understanding of project Governance and procurement processes.
Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processes.
Professional Qualified – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
Prince 2 or MSP experience
Good Understanding of contracts (RIAI, GCCC, NEC3, JCT, etc…)
