AECOM is currently seeking a Electrical Project Engineer to be based in Dublin .
About the role:
Design of electrical engineering services installations preferably in the commercial office, data centres, healthcare and educational sectors. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience of BIM using Revit software within the relevant field.
Working as part of the M&E delivery team and be responsible for all aspects of electrical Building Services installation
Liaising with architect, Electrical Design Consultant, main contractor and the client
Co-ordination of utilities companies
Electrical Design co-ordinating/review of drawings
Attending and project progress meetings
Dealing with any client issues
Key Role Requirements:
The key role requirements described below are described in two parts, those which are deemed minimum requirements of the role and those which are considered to be preferable.
It should be noted that these are presented in no particular order of preference and are intended to express the challenges and opportunities provided by this role.
An Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer experience.
Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, Low voltage distribution.
Competent with electrical engineering calculations (Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp).
A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs covering for example, Education, Healthcare and Commercial projects. Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a member of a professional Institution or close to achieving professional chartered status.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, able to inspire, influence and negotiate
Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
Excellent report writing skills, experience of making presentations and attending meetings with clients
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical.
