Job Summary

We are recruiting a Business Support Manager to our site in Dounreay.

The purpose of the post is to co-ordinate the delivery of the business management support to the Directorate and the job holder will be responsible for the management of Fuels Directorate Support Services.

Other responsibilities will include;

  • Project management interface, supporting the delivery of the required monthly reportage.

  • Overall responsibility for all business support functions

  • Leading and developing the team

  • Challenge the norm. Display and encourage innovation within the team/directorate/organisation.

  • Deploy the correct strategic model for the project/programme/business goal in order to achieve the desired outcome.

  • Providing performance analysis and recommendations on execution year performance standards and funding

  • Management of Fuels Resource planning

  • Management of Fuels support (Administrative support, Finance, Security, Project Controls, Commercial, Risk)

  • Hold Management Appointments relevant to post

  • Manage DSRL staff as a Line Manager

  • Develop and maintain highly visual KPIs to ensure business requirements are fully understood throughout the organisation.

You would manage contract support for negotiations with the NDA for PBI's, Fee and baseline contract changes for fuels and have technical management responsibility for large contracts such as INS

Minimum Requirements

We would expect the successful person to have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field or be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

We would like to see candidates with commercial management experience, practical site/office operational management, team leadership experience and programme office experience.
