Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Contract Manager for immediate employment for the Denver, CO office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Due diligence in support of projects with new Clients/JV's/Teaming arrangements, Contract Risk Analysis, Contract task order proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contracts policy compliance, Project audits, Project property management and any other business related support required by the program/project management team

  • Serve as the primary project interface with the client's contracting official where so designated

  • Responsible for providing the prime contract flowdown terms related to performance and billing conditions from the contract

  • Must ensure adherence to the firm's signature authority policy, and facilitate approval of necessary and appropriate deviations

  • Coordinate with Corporate Audit Group and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal and state agency audits

  • The Senior Contracts Administrator must possess the ability to manage and support multiple contract types and task orders concurrently and respond to project/client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, subcontracting/procurement, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property and other administrative issues

  • Review and approve the application of accurate contract rate data in the preparation of proposal and contract information

  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop the negotiation strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the client

  • On Federal projects will conduct strategic pricing planning, participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with the Federal Estimating System Manual, RFP requirements and other firm policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

  • 7+ years contract administration experience

  • Experience in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Excellent working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements as well as the Uniform Commercial Code

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years' contract administration experience
