Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Domestic Tax Reporting will be responsible for:

  • Supporting all facets of tax accounting under ASC 740 and the related SEC reporting requirements including the preparation of rate forecasts, domestic tax provision, worldwide provision consolidation, and 10Q / K tax footnotes and disclosures.

  • Maintaining inventory of Uncertain Tax Positions and all related supporting documentation for the Company.

  • Supporting the preparation of quarterly computations related to domestic equity-based compensation.

  • Reconciling global tax accounts on a quarterly basis.

  • Proactively identifying, recommending and implementing process and tax systems improvements.

  • Reviewing domestic corporate and partnership income tax returns.

  • Working on special tax projects such as M&A transactions, integrations and reorganizations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or related degree

  • 9+ years of combined large-scale, complex tax experience with a public accounting firm and a multi-national public company

  • Strong knowledge and proven capabilities in the area of accounting for income taxes (ASC740)

  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities

  • Strong technical/analytical skills to identify and solve problems

  • Willingness to work collaboratively by incorporating diverse perspectives and appropriately managing relationships in order to strengthen decision-making

  • Experience with tax software such as OneSource Tax Provision and CorpTax

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Private industry experience highly preferred

  • Local candidates preferred (This position will be based at our AECOM office at the Galleria Towers in Dallas, TX.)

  • CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
