AECOM Risk Management Engineer in Dahlgren, Virginia

AECOM is seeking a Risk Management Engineer to serve as the serve as the primary support responsible for Dahlgren BL 9, BL 10 and AIE Risk Management in RiskExchange+. The Engineer 3 will be required to:
Record and track activities through Baseline development, resolution of Risk Action Items from activities, providing updates in RiskExchange+ and developing weekly reports.
Participate in various Baseline Engineering meetings to capture, document and track Risk Issues for each baseline.
Interface with Dahlgren element and system engineers to clearly articulate Risk, Probability and Impact in the RiskExchange+ system.
Interface with IWS 1.0 Risk Management personnel regarding Dahlgren Risk items.
Understanding of Navy Combat Systems Operations and C/S Engineering process to be able to recognize and understand potential Risk Items.
Ability to effectively brief O5/O6 Navy sponsors and senior Government management regarding Risk Items
Develop and Present Baseline Risk Briefs.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required. Five (5) years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems military operations experience or mission engineering experience with three (3) years of specialized experience is necessary. Must have one (1) year of experience with AEGIS BL 9 and AEGIS BL 10. Must have knowledge of DoD and DoN Risk Management techniques. Experience in one or more of the areas below:
DDG 1000 Integrated Communications Control (ICC) experience / SME
Sensor Vehicle Control (SVC) experience / SME
DDG 1000 Combat System Element Interface experience / SME
Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) experience / SME
Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) experience / SME
DOORS Requirements experience / SME
- An Active Secret Clearance is preferred.
