AECOM Lead Software Engineer in Crane, Indiana

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Crane, Indiana to lead the development and life cycle support of software and firmware for tactical military applications. The candidate will develop and maintain test equipment software in support of depot, intermediate, and organizational level maintenance activities. The selected candidate will apply and oversee techniques and procedures to ensure a rigorous software development and configuration management process is maintained. Specific experience with integration, test, and evaluation of electro-optic technology for military applications required.

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., BSEE, BSCS) or equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 12 years of relevant work experience (two of which should be at the Lead Engineer level) are required. Fifteen years’ relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Excellent communications and analytical skills required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
