The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strong and confident leadership in Client relationship development and management

  • Project pursuit leadership and management

  • Strategic planning

  • Building and developing teams to win and deliver

  • Visible internal and external leadership to support project delivery and business development resource needs

  • Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and regional/national management teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • 8+ years of experience in municipal, civil engineering consulting, engineering management companies, or public utility including 2 years in sales, business development and or Marketing

  • Proven track record of successful management of large, multi-disciplinary wastewater projects

  • Background specific to operation and design of wastewater projects and client/consultant relations experience

  • Capable of leading business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and serving as a project manager on project deliveries

  • Proficiency will depend on strong communication skills, previous experience leading interdisciplinary teams on large, complex projects and an interest in mentoring team members

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in municipal, civil engineering consulting, engineering management companies, or public utility

  • Professional Engineer license

  • Record of aiding major water suppliers assemble funding for major projects with knowledge of state and federal funding sources

  • High-profile significant duration participation in water community activities, to include New England Water Environment Association and Water Environment

  • Deep knowledge of wastewater treatment
