Position Title Stormwater Project Manager

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Stormwater Project Manager for immediate employment in the Charleston, SC office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assists other project managers with mid-sized civil engineering projects
Supervises and mentors junior staff
Independently prepares design calculations and reports
Manages projects including scoping, task management, invoicing, and final closeout
Communicates project tasks between offices – high level of coordination and communication skills required
Resolves issues or problems concerning conflicting design requirements, specifications and/or difficult coordination requirements
Makes technical presentations
Performs constructability reviews of designs
Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of engineering work as a part of a major project or small-moderate scope project
Plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications
Interacts regularly with clients to expand work assignments
Assists with proposals to provide services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs
Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering of Environmental Engineering
10+ years of related experience
South Carolina PE required
Emphasis on stormwater services or urban development
Project management experience required
Strong communication and client relation skills
Business development experience
Proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other design software
Experience with diverse hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (examples: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, CAD platforms, Bentley software, XP SWMM)
