AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Port and Marine Manager for immediate employment in the Charleston, SC Office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, successful and growing South Carolina transportation group encompassing all disciplines of transportation including roadway and highway design, ITS, rail, traffic, safety, port and marine and CEI construction services.
This position will lead large port, marine & waterfront projects for a diverse client base. A key responsibility will be to nurture and grow relationships with existing port clients, port authorities, contractors, and private operators. You'll support existing contracts while simultaneously building relationships with other marine-side markets, including but not limited to cruise operators, or cargo and container terminals.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
Lead and oversee project teams and subcontractors in designing and executing successful waterfront-centric projects
Contribute to or plan/execute marine and port business development efforts for multiple states
Project and program management including large complex marine and port projects
Mentor and review the work done by the junior and mid-level engineers
Review and provide quality control and quality assurance for design projects
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
10+ years of related experience
A portfolio of marine and port experience that includes project management
The ability to build relationships with a variety of client types
Client development and strategic business planning
Ability to scope and estimate complex projects
Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
Track and manage task budgets and schedules
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Master's Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
PE license and ability to obtain SC PE License
