AECOM IT Specialist in Chantilly, Virginia

This position is contingent upon contract award
AECOM is seeking to interview and to hire an IT Specialist. The chosen candidate will become a direct hire with AECOM and will be provided full benefits after applicable time. This position will be located in the Northern Virginia area and requires a government Security Clearance.
The primary duties will include:
Responsible to ensure that all program personnel have access to IT systems and hardware to meet mission needs.
Provide Tier I (initial) support for IT questions and issues.
Establish and update user account access to company and customer systems and applications.
Maintain an in-house email system.
Responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining hardware and software.
Perform all system upgrades and configure all communication systems as required.
Shall provide the IT technical systems and continuous O&M support required to ensure at least 99 percent availability of the system during operating hours.
Shall provide on-call after-hours support.
Inventory all H/W components.
Maintain S/W logs and licenses.
Previous experience providing Tier I support/Help Desk
Knowledge of installing and maintaining unclassified networks.
5 year of demonstrated experience in IT installing and maintaining hardware and software systems.
CISSP, Security+, and/or advanced Microsoft certification desired.
Experience using Amazon Web Services.
Experience using Oracle.
8 year of demonstrated experience in IT installing and maintaining hardware and software systems.
