Job Summary

AECOM is seeking to immediately interview and hire Hausa Source Collectors to support AECOM. Each qualifying candidate chosen will become a direct hire with AECOM and will be provided full benefits and opportunity for advancement, after applicable time. The position available will be located in the Northern Virginia area. The position requires performing various functions in the foreign language to include collecting, monitoring, internet research, scanning, selecting, summarizing, managing data, conducting research, and writing reports. Training will be provided. No deployment required. No clearance required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Must have strong Hausa language skills

  • Must be able to communicate well in English and have ability to write English composition using appropriate language, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Must possess strong cultural knowledge and very capable and knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications and Internet research.

  • Three years or less of experience monitoring, collecting, summarizing, writing reports, and conducting research for foreign open source information to include social media, radio, television, newspapers, blogs, websites, and various internet sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise, education or cultural background in specific fields or geographic regions of interest to the Sponsor.

  • Experience working as part of a team and independently.
